The Quilter's Workshop
Vote in our Kanzashi Challenge!
The creative minds at Clover recently introduced Kanzashi Templates, simplifying the ancient art of
fabric and paper folding into something we mere mortals could do!
To celebrate, we had a competition!
Peruse the entries below and cast your newsletter ballot for the one you like best!

Thanks for voting!
Entry #1 - Woven Kanzashi Wallhanging

Created at Second Saturday, this student gave us her
take on what a Kanzashi plant could look like!
Entry #2 - A Cup of Kanzashi

Grown in a giant's teacup, this 24" topiary
features more than 35 individual kanzashi
blossoms, a collection of bumble bees
and a single dragonfly!
Entry #3 - Glenda's New Name Tag

With beautiful embroidered eyes and lips,
this Glenda looks like she just walked out of a
Kanzashi garden with a bouquet in hand
and blossoms in her hair!
Entry #5 - Summer Straw Kanzashi Bag

Perfect for carrying a book, sunblock and shades
to the pool, three colorful kanzashi flowers
adorn the side of this summery bag!

Entry #6 - Paige's Treasures

Little Paige just turned 3 years old and
her auntie created this cool Kanzashi bucket
for her to carry her treasures around in!

Made entirely out of recycled and repurposed
items, Miss Paige can fill it full, pop the
top on and take her stuff everywhere!
Entry #7 - Birdie Sling Bag

It's an Amy Butler pattern, totally pizazzed
with the addition of matching kanzashi!

Change your Kanzashi to match your
outfit with a nifty magnetic ring!
